In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

On the "Day of Joy," we meet today with five hundred boys and girls out of more than three thousand orphans embraced by the Al-Wa'i and Al-Mowasat Charity Association. Three thousand names, each with a story, a dream, and a right over all of us. We are not granting a favor; rather, we are fulfilling a trust. A child does not live by bread alone; joy is an educational need, play is a space for growth, and laughter builds within them what aid alone cannot build. We want our children to feel that they are an integral part of their society, where they have a place and a status. On this day, we stand in reverence before the mothers who have borne the responsibility with patience and dignity. What we offer to their children is not a substitute for their effort, but a small tribute to a great giving. 🤍 First, our thanks go to the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation for bearing the costs of this ceremony, for providing aid, equipment, gifts, and shopping vouchers, and for contributing to creating joy in five hundred little hearts. May Allah reward sisterly Turkey—President, government, people, and institutions—with the best reward. Thanks are also extended to the orphan-sponsoring entities, including institutions, organizations, and benefactors, who form the main pillar for the continuation of this work. We also extend our thanks to the mayors, mukhtars, social figures, and the Mount Lebanon Commission of the Muslim Scouts for their presence and support, and to the partner commercial center that contributed to making the assistance a space of choice that preserves the family's dignity. All appreciation to the association's team, especially the Social Welfare Department, the media team, volunteers, and administrators, and every hand that worked behind the scenes to make this day happen. Most importantly: these children are a trust upon all of us, and our responsibility does not end with the conclusion of the ceremony. We invite everyone who is able to sponsor one orphan... for there are still those waiting.
