Livelihood Sector
“Opportunity… for a brighter future”
The Livelihood sector works with the poor and needy to identify their priorities, opportunities, and constraints — reducing economic risk, rebuilding weak capacities, and advancing sustainable development.
It helps families without breadwinners rely on their own capabilities: developing the human and economic resources within their community, reintegrating people into productive life, and reducing dependence on aid.
Working fields
- Cash-for-work projects (cooking, sewing, and more)
- Vocational training (hairdressing, computer maintenance, soap making)
- Developmental projects (charitable kitchen and bakery)
- Agricultural projects (irrigation, land reclamation, seedling distribution)
