The Al-Waee & Al-Mawasaat Charitable Association – Lebanon participated in the meeting of the Constituent Assembly of the International Islamic Council for Da'wah and Relief, held at the headquarters of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Cairo, represented by its Vice President and General Manager, Dr. Imad Saeed, member of the Relief Committee in the Council.

During the meeting, Dr. Imad Saeed conveyed the social and humanitarian reality of Lebanon in light of accumulating crises, highlighting the challenges facing families and local communities, and the role of civil society organizations in responding to growing needs, reflecting the active presence of the association and its position within the Islamic and humanitarian system.

This meeting comes under the chairmanship of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Al-Tayeb, and with the participation of a select group of scholars and advocacy and humanitarian leaders from across the Islamic world, as part of the activities of the 26th meeting of the Council's Constituent Assembly.

Reports from organizations and committees affiliated with the Council were discussed, alongside current advocacy and humanitarian issues in the Islamic world.
